It might be early, and I am sure their toughest games are ahead of them, but the Whetstone Football team is making a strong run towards being State Champions. It would not be out of the realm of possibility for them to currently lead all teams in Ohio in total points, and/or in points scored vs. points allowed ratio. Here are the results through tonight...Week 1 - Whetstone 41, Briggs 6
Week 2 - Whetstone 42, Central Crossing (Grove City) 7
Week 3 - Whetstone 60, South 6
For a team that went 0-20 my junior and senior years, things are certainly looking up. My sources tell me they added a spread offense. (my sources being an article from This Week that popped up when I was searching for a picture to use with this post.
